Subject: Physical assault on Sh. Naresh Kumar SDE( Building) Kidwai Bhawan ND on 29-08-09

The executive committee of Joint forum of MTNL Executives’ associations has met on 02/09/2009, in its emergent session and resolved as under:- 1. The executive committee has strongly condemned the physical assault on Shri Naresh Kumar SDE(Building), Kidwai Bhawan, by the majority union representative. 2. The executive committee has also strongly condemned the subsequent actions of the management to suspend Shri Naresh Kumar SDE(Building), Kidwai Bhawan and Shri A. K. Kaushik, General Secretary TEAM. 3. The executive committee demands immediate withdrawal of suspension of Shri Naresh Kumar SDE(Building), Kidwai Bhawan and Shri A. K. Kaushik General Secretary TEAM. 4. The executive committee demands stringent action against the officers who were involved in conspiracy with majority union and proposed and approved the suspension of the above officers. 5. The executive committee further decides if management fails to meet the above demands then the Joint Forum will be compelled to the following protest program:- a. Massive demonstration and rally during lunch hour on 05/09/2009 at Jantar Mantar and memorandum to CMD MTNL Delhi. b. Indefinite non-cooperation with effect from 07/09/2009 till the demands met.
We hope the good sense will prevail upon the management and appropriate action will be taken to resolve this issue to maintain the industrial peace in MTNL. With Regards Yours Sincerely
